Akinro and Klein first met piece poring over medicine in college. After acting in various ensembles, the duet came up with the conception of Tok Tok Tok and began focussing on a unify of acoustic soul, drink down, and jazz. They released their debut record album, 50 Ways to Leave Your Lover, on BHM in 1999. Since then they make released a handful of albums, including From Soul to Soul in 2006. |
